Senior Account Manager


We are Bite. A creative communications and content agency with offices in London, LA, San Francisco and New York. We work with clients who want to challenge convention and disrupt markets. They include some of the biggest brands in the world, like Hasbro, BAE Systems, Telefonica and Arm, as well as innovative start-ups, like Cocoon, Plume and Jaunt VR.

Owing to recent new business wins, we’re on the lookout for a smart and ambitious PR Senior Account Manager to join our Comms team, with a focus on Consumer and Consumer Tech clients.

The Role

With the support of 3 AEs and AMs, a great teamwork ethic and the leadership of an inspirational AD and head of division, you will drive top quality PR results in the UK national, consumer lifestyle and technology media. Day-to-day you’ll lead on up to 5 accounts handling media, providing messaging, media and social consultancy to senior clients, project managing PR and digital marketing projects independently, managing campaigns and budgets, and drafting materials including proposals and briefs. Other duties include:

  • Management of an account team across B2C accounts while juggling multiple stakeholders across a varied client portfolio.
  • Regularly motivating teams to brainstorm and deliver thought-provoking campaigns for clients.
  • The development of smart, metric orientated PR plans linked to client communication and business objectives.
  • Demonstrating an ability to both make and develop relationships at a national and international media level.
  • Providing regular understanding of current and future business trends and their relevance to clients and competitors.

About You

At Bite, cultural fit is essential. As well as having a track record of brilliant media relations and client service excellence, you’ll need to be someone who approaches their work with a sense of teamwork, self-motivation, and confidence. You’ll be a skilled communicator with an understanding of digital PR techniques, competent in managing junior team members and keen to spot opportunities for organic growth of your accounts whilst being actively involved in growing the agency client portfolio.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous agency experience at Senior Account Manager level with specialist Consumer/Consumer Tech knowledge.
  • Experience in delivering integrated communications campaigns for clients, understanding your client’s business. objectives and ensuring that these are factored into PR planning.
  • A proven track record building long term relationships with clients and influencers alike.
  • Leadership and team management skills alongside a desire to have fun at work.
